I was hoping id have the pickguard ready when I buy it. With that, I may need to have the actual guitar I am buying in my hands to test it out and its not happening until I buy it. If you are, I've had good luck with Terrapin (you can download a pattern, to see how well it fits) or an eBayer named 'cabhop', I used. If you aren't in a big hurry, watch that. ![]() ![]() I was hoping id have the pickguard ready when I buy it. Not aware of a cream colored stock pick guard, but in this case, eBay may be your friend. I’m hoping that they kept the dimensions of the hardware and just changed construction AND body+neck join. What I’m thinking is MAYBE, the pickguard from the Elitist series is the same with the 90’s Casino made in the same factory. The 17th fret Korean Casinos from the 90’s is just as hard to get a pickguard from. ![]() They’re only made for a limited time, 2, Terada Factory) as i like the upper fret access even if its just 1 fret and the whole body shape is different and appeals to me more than the 16th fret join. Elitist, which is also Terada made, have 16th fret body+neck join, Same as Matsumoku era (mid 70’s - late 80’s), also mid 80’s to mid 90’s, The Terada plant was also making Casinos but with a 17th fret body+neck join, which i think, the same with the 90’s Korean Casinos (mid 90’s to 2004?) then went back to orig spec to 16th fret body+neck join.
